I’m Sr Aline Gomes do Nascimento CFMSS, born in Salvador in the state of Bahia. I’ve been living in the Amazon region for 10 years, in the state of Par\u00e1 (2 years in Bel\u00e9m and 8 years in Reden\u00e7\u00e3o). I’ve been working with the Kayap\u00f3 indigenous people for the eight years I’ve lived in Reden\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0 Initially I worked in the Indigenous Pastoral and since 2nd June 2020 I have been working as a nurse in the Gorotire village, in the municipality of Cumaru do Norte, 160 km from Reden\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>

Ever since I was an aspirant when I heard Sr Rog\u00e9ria talking about the indigenous mission with such love and enthusiasm, I fell in love. And as I always wanted to be part of the mission, I vowed that when possible I would apply to serve the Kayap\u00f3 indigenous people. And that’s what happened when Sr Rog\u00e9ria was elected provincial in 2012. I made myself ready to be part of this mission, where I found Jesus in the face of the indigenous people whom I chose to love and serve. I feel honoured to represent each CFMSS in this mission, which is not easy. But God is giving me the grace to be a sign of His presence<\/p>

Desde o aspirantado quando escutei Ir. Rog\u00e9ria falar da miss\u00e3o indigenista com tanto amor e entusiasmo me apaixonei. E como sempre desejei est\u00e1 inserida na miss\u00e3o fiz o voto de quando poss\u00edvel iria me candidatar a servir o povo ind\u00edgena Kayap\u00f3. E foi o que aconteceu quando Ir. Rog\u00e9ria foi eleita provincial em 2012, me disponibilizei a est\u00e1 nesta miss\u00e3o, onde encontrei Jesus no rosto do povo ind\u00edgena a quem escolhi amar e servir. Sinto-me honrada de representar cada CFMSS nesta miss\u00e3o que n\u00e3o \u00e9 f\u00e1cil.
