NEW GENERAL GOVERNMENT OF THE CFMSS ELECTED

The mystery of an election is not given to penetrate: it is enclosed in the heart and in the infinite Wisdom of God who disposes everything according to his inscrutable designs, for the greater good.
“You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and appointed you that you may go and bear fruit and that your fruit may endure” (Jn 15:16).

nd so, we, the Clarist Franciscan Missionaries of the Most Blessed Sacrament, can only pause on the threshold of this profound and lofty mystery of God’s choice, who today has called Sr. M. Chiara Lorenzato  to lead our Institute for the next six years as our Mother General, and Sr. Flavia Luca (Vicar), Sr. Joyce Thadathil,  Sr. Cristina Del H. Alonso Pedano and Sr. Eliana Batista da Conceição as members of her Council.
We do not know why, but we do know that the Lord uses poor human mediation to act in history, to work new things and accomplish unexpected wonders. 

Called to become humble and docile instruments of God’s benevolence, generous vinedressers sent to serve this “small portion of the Lord’s vineyard” that is our Religious Family in the world, with the help of grace and the support of us sisters, they will certainly know how to sow and cultivate the many seeds of goodness received gratuitously, so that “they may bear fruit and that this fruit may be lasting”.

Our dearest and most sincere good wishes to them, which become a prayer and a commitment of fraternal communion for their service!
